Company Profile
RaySearch Laboratories is a medical technology company that develops software solutions for improved cancer treatment. The company markets the RayStation treatment planning system, RayCare oncology information system, RayIntelligence oncology and machine learning platform, and the RayCommand treatment control system to cancer centres all over the world and distributes the products through licensing agreements with leading medical technology companies. RaySearch’s software is currently used by over 2,600 centres in more than 65 countries. The company was founded in 2000 as a spin-off from the Karolinska Institute in Stockholm and the share has been listed for trading on Nasdaq Stockholm since 2003.

Recent highlights
In Q1, order intake decreased 52% y/y to SEK 145m (300), and net sales decreased 22% y/y to SEK 162m (209), due to lower license sales. EBIT amounted to SEK 12m (52). In July, RaySearch announced that RayStation® 9 was granted regulatory clearance in China. With the approval, features including Plan Explorer, support for planning of Accuray Radixact® and TomoTherapy® treatment delivery systems will be brought to cancer centres in the country.

Outlook
The company announced that in 2021, they are introducing support for Accuray's CyberKnife machine, as well as a large number of new machine learning models. The company has a long-term financial target of high sales growth with an operating margin of more than 40%.
