SpareBank 1 SR-Bank is the second largest bank in Norway and one of the founders of the SpareBank 1 alliance. The bank is headquartered in Stavanger and holds a leading position as a provider of financial services for Southwestern Norway. Out of the banks which make up SpareBank 1 SR-Bank today is Egersund Sparebank, which was founded in 1839.
