Alberto Montesi is the Norway Delivery Manager for the Jansz-Io Compression project (part of the Gorgon field development), managing the delivery of the Subsea Compression Station and Electrical Power System.
Previously Alberto worked in Chevron Corporate HQ in San Ramon, California as Strategy and Planning Advisor, supporting the company’s shipping, pipeline, power and energy management, and supply and trading operating units. Prior to this position he worked in Texas and Louisiana, managing subsea major capital projects, supporting offshore operations, and leading technology development teams. Alberto joined Chevron in 2005 as a research scientist in the Flow Assurance team. A native of Italy, he received a Bachelor Degree in Chemical Engineering from Università di Bologna, Italy and a PhD in Chemical Engineering from Rice University, in Houston, TX (USA).

Øystein Haukvik is Aker Solutions‘ Project Director for the Jansz-Io Compression project, managing the project from early engineering and procurement activities to fabrication, testing and completion in Egersund, Norway.
Øystein held the same position for Equinor’s Åsgard subsea compression project, and has a broad and long experience from the Oil & Gas industry in Project management and different senior management positions within Aker Solutions. He is a Norwegian citizen and holds a Master degree from the University of Trondheim, Norway, a Diploma from Von Karman Institute for Fluid Dynamics in Brussels, Belgium and a Foundation in Business Administration from the Norwegian school of Management (BI).
