Gunnar Nakken is the Senior Vice President of Global Operations Technology in Equinor – supporting Operations, Maintenance, Modification & Production upstream offshore globally. Gunnar has mainly been working within operations, where he has held several central management positions both offshore and onshore, including Platform Manager, Vice President Operations and Senior Vice President Operations West in Development and production Norway. Gunnar has also been involved in several corporate improvement initiatives and organization projects within the company.

Gunnar holds a Masters Degree (M.Sc.) in Chemistry from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (former NHT).
