Mads Hjelmeland holds an MSc in Marine Technology with the Norwegian University of Science and Technology, and currently holds the position as Managing Director, Processing Systems, and he’s responsible for the subsea processing business in OneSubsea.
Prior to joining OneSubsea in 2014, Mads worked with Murphy Oil in Malaysia where he held the position as Manager of Subsea Projects, which included development planning and execution of EPC projects across Murphy’s Malaysia deepwater portfolio. Before he joined Murphy Mads worked with OneSubsea where he held a variety of positions in Norway, the Middle East and Asia. His work scope focused on subsea processing technologies, with particular emphasis on subsea boosting and multiphase compression technologies.
Richard Crichton Speaker

Richard Crichton joined Shell International in the Netherlands in 1996. Richard has over 26 years of project management and front-end development experience in Upstream E&P across multiple geographies, assets & countries: Malaysia, Netherlands, Norway, Oman, Philippines, USA. He has led projects across full delivery life cycle on both large capital & portfolio small brownfield projects. Richard returned to Norway in 2019 as the Ormen Lange Phase 3 Project Manager following the completion of Shell’s Appomattox deepwater project in the Gulf of Mexico, USA where he delivered the HPHT subsea infrastructure. Richard holds a BSc in Civil Engineering (Durham University) and MSc in Environmental Engineering (Newcastle University).
