Mycorena was founded in 2017 with a vision to be the global leader in fungi technology to drive a sustainability revolution. We develop sustainable mycoprotein solutions with the potential to impact the entire food industry. Our nutritious and versatile fungi-based products offer companies the opportunity to diversify their product range with sustainable options.

Our flagship product Promyc is a vegan mycoprotein ingredient, used as a substitute or addition to other protein sources. The production process is very similar to beer brewing, at Mycorena we often say that we “brew protein”. Promyc is different from any other mycoprotein due to its pleasant texture and richness in not only protein, but fibre, vitamins, and minerals. Through unique technology, Mycorena has developed an ingredient that tastes good and does good. It is an incredibly versatile ingredient, perfect for the production of vegan food products, that can be applied in a broad variety of applications to meet the increasing consumer demand for alternative protein sources.
