Below are the program for the longer seminars as well as the mini-seminars during the Swedish Forum for Human Rights 2016. Click on More search options below and check the box English to see the part of the program that is in English. Click on the title of the seminar for a short description, under More information you can get a longer description and a presentation of the participants.
To attend the longer seminars during the Forum you need a ticket. When you have registered and log in you can favour the seminars that you find extra interesting, add them to your calendar and network with other participants.
For the program on November 19th and the mini-seminiars no ticket is needed.

Regeringens flyktingåtstramningar har gjort att antalet asylsökande som tar sig till Sverige minskat rejält sedan hösten 2015, vilket har fått Refugees Welcome Sverige att ställa om sitt arbete till viss del. Utöver arbetet i Sverige har de fått ta steget ut i Europa. Om inte Sverige vill ta ansvar så får gör de det i stället. Som ett direkt resultat av Sveriges nya lagar så tvingas människor i nöd sitta kvar i flyktingläger i bland annat Grekland.

Att äldre personer kan ha en annan könsidentitet eller sexuell läggning taalas det väldigt sällan om. Detta är dessutom en persongrupp som har varit med om en tid där de var kriminella på grund av sin identitet eller läggning. Att ta sikte mot en HBTQ-certifiering för att skapa förståelse bland personalen var därför ett naturligt riktmärke för oss i vårt arbete för att möta individen på så bra sätt som möjligt.

Malmö är en stad med en stor mångfald och en av Europas mest diversifierade städer där över 50 procent av befolkningen har utomnordisk bakgrund. Den strukturella rasismen är något som drabbar många av de grupper som bor och verkar i Malmö. Varför är det viktigt med separatistiska plattformar för att på ett bättre sätt kunna förstärka den egna gruppen i den antirasistiska kampen? Kan olika minoriteter samarbeta för att tillsammans bekämpa rasismen? Hur kan ett sådant samarbete ut? Hur kan vi på bästa sätt bekämpa afrofobin, islamofobin, antisemitismen, antiziganismen/antiromismen och alla former av rasism?
