Arjo is a global supplier of medical devices, services and solutions that enhance the quality of life for individuals with reduced mobility and age-related health challenges. Its product portfolio and solutions include patient handling, hygiene, disinfection, medical beds, therapeutic surfaces, VTE prevention and diagnostics. Arjo serves both private and public institutions within acute care and long-term care. Arjo’s solutions are sold in more than 100 countries in primarily North America and Western Europe. The company consists of approximately 6,200 employees worldwide and the head office is located in Malmö, Sweden.

Recent highlights
In Q2 2022, the company saw net sales increasing organically by 0.2% to SEK 2,404 M (2,199). Growth for the quarter was held back by postponed sales in patient handling, significantly lower critical care rental volumes in the US compared with last year, and continued challenges related to material supply and logistics. During the quarter, the company announced a voluntary recall for its Sara Plus® floor lifts due to the possibility of the printed circuit board overheating. Furthermore, Arjo announced that the SEM Scanner Single-Use-Sensors are available on the NHS England and Wales Drug Tariff.

Outlook
By the end of 2022, Arjo expects organic sales growth to be within its 3-5% target interval. The company estimates that growth will gradually increase in the year’s final two quarters together with a substantial share of recurring sales. Furthermore, Arjo anticipates a strong performance in the rental operations business.
