Cortus mission is to be the World leading supplier of renewable gaseous, liquified and solid products based on one system WoodRoll®.
Cortus was founded in 2006 with the aim to realize the innovation WoodRoll ®. The WoodRoll ® process uses renewable resources to produce an ultraclean energy gas that has no carbon footprint .
Cortus patented gasification technology, WoodRoll®, converts low grade biomass to high value green molecules in the most cost efficient way on the market.
The customer pain is their fossil dependency within process -, transport -, and chemical industry where there is lack of alternative, cost efficient and sustainable solutions for customers to meet the climate goals and market demands.
The technology has been proven in lab and pilot scale and the first commercial demonstration 6 MW plant is installed and under commissioning in Höganäs, Sweden.
Cortus is working with new prospects in the EU, California and Japan.
