In this presentation, Julia will share some insights on how policies like the Fuel EU Maritime regulation, as well as other related EU policies, might influence the possibilities for different alternative marine fuels, including hydrogen and hydrogen-based fuels and propulsion concepts. The Fuel EU Maritime regulation includes, for example, a requirement to reduce the yearly average greenhouse gas intensity of energy used onboard ships gradually from 2025 to 2050.
