You will also gain a deeper understanding of the state of LGBTQIA+ refugees in the global south and different drivers of people with self lived experience towards the pathways of safety.

Learn from experts and people with lived experience on different aspects under the broad theme of pathways to safety. This will have a focus on things that these people consider important and that professionals in the many fields concerned here might be lacking insight regarding.

Welcome to this Roundtable discussion among political actors and experts in the field, including those with lived experience. Here the discussion will focus on What options need to be available to LGBTQI+ refugees within the overall breakout theme of “pathways to safety”

(Language of the event English)This presentation will provide an overview of global LGBT+ human rights, using case studies and stories from All Out's campaigns in order to give an insight into the struggle for equality in some of the most hostile places for LGBT+ people in the world.

Join Caritia for this hands-on workshop about power, power play and hierarchical dynamics from a perspective you may find truly uplifting.

Listen and gain a more in-depth awareness from the experts and researchers on the state of LGBTQ+ refugee in the global south host country and the different perspectives on why global actor needs to prioritize LGBTQ+ asylum case to bring them to the safety.This session aims to provide an understanding of the state of LGBTQIA+ refugees who are forced to seek refuge in the global south and why we need to prioritize LGBTQIA+ asylum cases.

In the final session in Track 2 you will have the opportunity to listen as experts provide insight into their different fields of speciality. We have some medical considerations, aspects of integration into the host country and also matters of capacity building with regards to organisations who work in this field.

Welcome to this Roundtable discussion among political actors and experts in the field, including those with lived experience. With a broad focus of accountability, this session will consider what we can expect from governments and key stakeholders to support LGBTQIA+ refugees and forcibly displaced people at the different parts of the process, whether that be resettlement or reintegration.
