Iberdrola Renovables Internacional, S.A.U., a part of the multinational electric utility company Iberdrola group. The Iberdrola group began to bet on renewable energies more than two decades ago, as a fundamental pillar on which to build its business model. Today, Iberdrola is a global leader within wind power production, generating and selling electricity produced through renewable energy sources. Iberdrola Renovables Internacional's geographical markets include Germany, France, Italy, Ireland, Portugal, Romania, Hungary, Greece, Australia, South Africa, Japan and Taiwan.

Iberdrola Renovables Internacional, S.A.U.'s main projects include the Wikinger offshore wind farm, which opened in 2018 and marked Iberdrola's entry into the German electricity market. Construction of another two offshore wind farms has also been awarded: Baltic Eagle and Wikinger Süd. Together, these three wind farms will give rise to the largest offshore wind complex in the Baltic Sea, with a total installed capacity of 836 MW and a combined investment of EUR 2.5bn.
