HPS offers the world’s first year-round electricity storage system for family homes, “picea”. The system supplies electricity from rooftops, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, 100% CO₂-free.

With proven battery technology, solar power is stored during the day and made usable in the evening. picea uses surplus electricity in the summer to produce hydrogen from water. In the winter, this process is reversed, and electricity is generated again from the hydrogen.
