Heimdall Power offers a solution that supports data-driven decision-making for operations and planning of high-voltage power lines. They develop intelligent multi-vector sensors (neurons) that measure a wide range of parameters (such as conductor temperature, ampere, angle, vibrations, etc.) on overhead power lines (7 kV – 550 kV) and present the insights in a web-based software solution.

Based on their models, available grid capacity can be identified which allow grid operators to defer costly grid capacity investment and to maximize renewable energy from intermittent sources such as wind and solar onto the grid. In addition, Heimdall’s software creates power line forecasts, minimizes blackouts and makes maintenance more effective. The insights can be viewed live, notification systems can be tailored and customized reports can be generated.
