Magnora focuses on investment opportunities within renewable energy and has secured a portfolio of renewable companies developing wind and solar power. The company is listed on the Oslo Stock Exchange.

Magnora’s portfolio consists of Evolar, Helios Nordic Energy, Kustvind, Magnora Offshore Wind, Vindr Group, and a South African SPV. Magnora has a business model based on identifying and developing renewable energy projects to the point where all legal permits are obtained, before partly or entirely divesting the projects. The company is currently participating in the 1.5 GW Utsira Nord offshore wind licensing round in Norway together with TechnipFMC through Magnora Offshore Wind.

Magnora owns 40.9% of the shares in Evolar with further options to increase its position up to 63.5%. Evolar is a high-tech company within the solar industry and has recently announced a commercial break-through on its solar panels with 25% improved efficiency.
