FREYR Battery aims to provide clean, industrial-scale battery solutions to help reduce global emissions. Listed on the New York Stock Exchange, FREYR's mission is to produce environmentally friendly battery cells to speed up the decarbonization of energy and transportation systems around the world.

To accomplish this goal, FREYR has begun construction on its first factory in Mo i Rana, Norway, and has announced plans for additional industrial-scale battery cell production facilities in Vaasa, Finland, and the United States. The company intends to have 50 GWh of battery cell capacity installed by 2025, 100 GWh by 2028, and 200 GWh by 2030, in order to meet the growing demand for clean energy solutions.
