Presentation
Vow came to light in 2020 when the company Scanship Holding ASA changed its name to Vow ASA. Operating through its subsidiaries Scanship (dating back to 1993) and Etia (dating back to 1989), it is committed to valorisation of waste. Its solutions convert biomass and waste into valuable resources and generate clean energy for a wide range of marine applications and land-based industries.

In July 2021, Vow spun out Vow Green Metals, an industrial processing company that will build, own and operate high value biocarbon plants. Biocarbon represents the lowest cost and fastest way to decarbonize the metallurgical/steel industry.

Cruise ships on every ocean have installed Vow’s technology, which processes waste and purifies wastewater. Vow's advanced solutions turn waste into biogenetic fuels and convert plastic waste into fuel, clean energy and high-value pyro carbon. Vow’s niche offering faces great demand growth driven by environmental trends and regulatory push factors in its customer industries.
