The metallurgical industry is striving to achieve its goals of CO2 neutrality by 2050 which necessary includes phasing out its consumption of coal. The most viable alternative to coal in metallurgical processes known today, is biocarbon. Hence, biocarbon is key for decarbonising the metals industry. Vow Green Metals will provide this carbon neutral reducing agent for use in the metallurgic smelting process and intends to build, own, and operate biocarbon plants. The production will use wood waste as feedstock, contributing to circular economy. The company will become an early mover in an industry where the demand for biocarbon is expected to surge in the coming years.
