Energean is Mediterranean and North Sea-focused independent E&P company based in London. The company is committed to sustainable development and aims to reach net zero by 2050. Energean’s portfolio, which is mainly gas weighted, consists of 982 mmboe of 2P reserves. In H1’21, the company had an average production of 44,000 boepd, of which 72% was natural gas.

Energean’s production is mainly derived from fields in Eqypt, Italy, Greece and the UK. The company’s main producing asset is a 100% working interest in the Abu Qir concession, the oldest gas production area in the Mediterranean Sea, consisting of three gas fields and six production platforms.

The company’s flagship project is the Karish, Karish North and Tanin gas development, offshore Isreal, expected to reach first gas by mid-2022. The project is expected to deliver a plateau production of 7.2 Bcm/yr by 2025.
