ECONNECT Energy was founded in 2012 targeting to make clean energy accessible and affordable. The company has developed the world’s first jettyless transfer of LNG, addressing the need for a cost-effective and environmentally sound solution in the LNG value chain. ECONNECT is an independent Norwegian technology company assisting the midstream, downstream, and maritime markets with IQuay, its jettyless transfer system.

The IQuay technology features a floating platform for loading, reloading, and bunkering of LNG, renewable fuels, and CO2 for sequestration without the need for time and cost-intensive fixed infrastructure. The company has also performed studies in partnership with Equinor and Naturgy, using the IQuay jettyless transfer system.
