METIS Cyberspace Technology was established in 2016 and is specialized in the fields of electronics engineering, IoT, Cloud Computing and Artificial Intelligence – all adapted to the specific requirements of Global Maritime. The company is privately held and headquartered in Athens.

METIS’ fully automated data acquisition system retrieves, cleans, and stores any measurement directly from the onboard equipment and sensors, and even from the crew. It gets data from any equipment, sensor and instrument installed on the vessels, without being influenced by diversity of makers or data sources, lowering installation cost, and saving time. The company offers METIS WIC, a smart device that collects and analyzes analog and digital signals and transmits the results through a mesh robust wireless network. The analysis agent can also monitor fuel oil consumption and CO2 emissions.
