Prosafe is a leading owner and operator of offshore accommodation vessels. The company is the result of the demerger and listing of Procon Offshore on the Oslo Stock Exchange in 1997. The company was renamed Prosafe following the merger with Safe Offshore the next year. The company has been solely focused on accommodation services ever since the floating production division was spun off in 2008. The company is headquartered in Stavanger, Norway, with offices in Scotland, Mexico, Brazil and Singapore.

The company currently owns and operates six semi-submersible accommodation vessels, Safety and Support Vessels and one unit modified to operate as a tender support vessel.

Prosafe recently announced that they received support from their lenders for a financial restructure to de-lever the balancesheet with an approx. USD 1,100 in debt reduction. This will secure a significant interest cost reduction, no mandatory debt maturities until December 2025 and provide Prosafe with financial flexibility liquid headroom. The financial restructure is yet to fully be approved by Singapore Court.
