Awilco LNG was incorporated in 2011 by Awilco, a company controlled by the Arne Wilhelmsen family which remains the largest shareholder with a 39% ownership. The company is listed on Euronext Expand (formerly Oslo Axess).

The company has a fleet of two ~156,000 cbm TDFE membrane LNG vessels built in 2013; ‘WilForce’ and ‘WilPride’. Awilco has used the strong LNG market to secure contract coverage into Q2’22. In April 2021, ‘Wilforce’ entered into a TC with 18 months duration, which is estimated by the company to have an EBITDA-contribution of USD 18m over the period. ‘WilPride’ commenced on a 10-month TC in June at an undisclosed rate.
