In conjunction with the GamifyUs conference at the Stockholm International Fair in September 2017, InvitePeople launches a new Gamification concept.

By being active in different areas - both online and on-site during the conference - conference participants gather points and compete. On a leader board, they can follow who has earned most points.

It is up to the organizer to decide how the participants will be rewarded: Prizes to those with the highest score or as at GamifyUs were the points can be used to shop in an online shop.

The conference organizer can choose from a variety of activities that can score points. Some examples:

  • Sharing the event on social media, Tweets about the event or joining Facebook groups.
  • Share data about yourself in a social network and upload image.
  • Booking of seminars.
  • Book meetings with sponsors or other participants.
  • Send message to other participants, sponsors or exhibitors
  • Participate in surveys or questionnaires
  • Use interactivity tools during seminars and much more.

The goal is to let participants promote the event virally and to activate and engage conference participants to create involving, happening, and interesting conferences.

There are plenty of new and enhanced fetures: Improved and simplified cloning of events. Put together a new event based on the settings from previous events. Copy all- or parts of earlier events. SMS and email services have been refined and improved. Add subpages to the registration page and create a simple event website in no time.

For the second year in a row, trade show organizer Nolia used InvitePeople for its online ticket sales at Stora Nolia, Sweden's largest visitor trade fair with close to 100 000 attendees. IPs iPhone apps scanned Nolias visitors at a number of different entrances. The exhibitor registration, badges and online presentation were made with InvitePeople systems.

At the Odontologiska Riksstämman in Gothenburg in November InvitePeople introduces a new payment system for on-site payments. An iPad app connects iZettles card- and cash payment service and Billograms invoicing service with InvitePeoples ticketing system.

– It's a seamless integration where tickets can be sold and the payment method chosen by the event staff. The buyer can then register on a computer and get name badges or tickets printed, says CTO Erik Tehler.

As last year, TUR - the annual Swedish International Travel and Tourism trade fair in Gothenburg uses InvitePeople for its matchmaking and social networking. This year the fair also offer InvitePeople lead retrievers to exhibitors. They upload the app from App store or Google play and can scan attendees with smartphones and retrieve personal contact information. 

On March 21 the doors opens to four days of networking, mingling and business. Last year more than 500 meetings were arranged through InvitePeoples system.
